Kwame Onwuachi vaulted from troubled youth to overnight success to failure with a fancy restaurant in Washington, D.C. Today, the American-Nigerian chef is drawing attention with a new book and winning approach to his award winning restaurant Kith and Kin. Previously, Chef Kwame was a contestant on Top Chef  in 2015. He has been recognized by Food & Wine magazine, Esquire magazine, and the James Beard Foundation as "Rising Star Chef of the year."
