COVID-19 Updates

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold, we wanted to reach out and update you on the status of our upcoming TEDxPearlStreet event.

UPDATES ON CORONAVIRUS

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold, we wanted to reach out and update you on the status of our June 4, 2020 TEDxPearlStreet event. We are closely monitoring the ongoing situation with particular attention to guidance from local and national public health authorities on preventing the virus’s spread through group gatherings. At this time, we hope to hold our inaugural TEDxPearlStreet event as planned, but we will not hesitate to make changes if necessary to ensure the safety of our participants and attendees. We are establishing the ability to host the event remotely via livestream should we be unable to gather in person at the Union Stage on June 4, 2020. We are also holding off on broadly announcing the event and beginning ticket sales until we know more from experts about the virus’s trajectory. We ask for your patience as our team navigates this unprecedented global health crisis. We will, of course, keep you updated as further decisions are made, and we encourage you to continue preparing for this awesome event! The TEDxPearlStreet team is looking forward to helping you craft your talks, and we are available to answer any questions you may have. In the face of uncertainty and fear, I hope this TEDx community can be a beacon of optimism to the world around us. All my best wishes to you and your family as we work together to get through this challenging time healthy and whole!
